Day 2:

Transfer after breakfast to Black Valley and walk to Killarney through the breathtaking Killarney National Park - approx 13 miles/21km. Stay Killarney (Mystical Rose B&B).

Day 3:

Walk Black Valley -Glencar (Lough Acoose B&B) - 12 ish miles/19ish km - Stay Glencar.

Challenging day but with gorgeous mountain landscape in the guise of the highest mountain range in Ireland - The Mcgillicuddy Reeks. Lakes and Valleys abound.

Kells - Caherciveen - stay Caherciveen (Iveragh Heights B&B) - beautiful coastal walks with views of the Dingle Peninsula - approx 9 miles/15km as shortened by staying in Kells as opposed to Glenbeigh - 17 miles/28km

Day 6:

Caherciveen – Waterville (Clifford’s B&B) – stay Waterville (Charlie Chaplin used to holiday here!)

This is a difficult stage at approx 17 miles/28km. It can be shortened to approx 13 miles/21km. It is quite boggy and thus heavy underfoot.

Waterville – Caherdaniel (Thidwick B&B) – coastal walk –approx 8 miles/13km and so a lovely easy day following previous day! This is an extremely scenic walk culminating in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world - Caherdaniel Bay – a scattering of tiny islands.
